We plan to be at Okonjima in the early afternoon to enjoy their incredible tea time and an afternoon activity.
At Okonjima there are loads of activities to take part in. Do an enclosure drive, leopard viewing, Carnivore Care Centre, The AfriCat Foundation or even a Bushman trail awaits.
Overnight: Okonjima’s Omboroko campsite
On this day for those who want there is enough time to still do another activity in the morning before we depart and travel inland to the geologically breathtaking Erongo Mountain range.
Our private camp is set up amongst giant granite boulders and the trails that this area offers guaranty incredible views and sunsets. We spend the next two days exploring the area on foot.
Overnight: Erongo Rocks campsite
From the Bush to the Ocean we head from Damaraland to the cold Atlantic Ocean on the Skeleton Coast. Experience why this is the world's only coastal desert. The dunes disappear into the sea. Check in at the coastal Bay View Beach Resort.
Day 8 - The Coast is the activity centre of Namibia.
The option are endless and we will be there to advise you on any activity you would like to explore.
2 nights : Bay View Resort Namibia
The Sossuvlei area belongs to a wider region of Southern Namib. This area is characterized by high sand dunes of vivid pink to orange color, a concentration of iron in the sand and consequent oxidation processes.
Sossuvlei has the highest sand dunes in the world and the composition of these dunes produces breathtakingly beautiful dune landscapes which undergo colour changes at sunrise and at sunset that have to be seen to be believed. It is thus strongly recommended that visitors enter the park as early as possible and leave very late.
Overnight: At the remote Desert camp and dinner will be at Sossuvlei lodge.
A sunrise hike in this geological paradise will be the perfect thing to wet your appetite for a good breakfast before our journey takes us back to Windhoek where we spend the last night enjoying a typical African Dinner at Joe's Beerhouse.
Overnight: Hotel pension Windhoek
A short yet fulfilling journey has come to and end and it is time to say goodbye.
On your flight back home you will have plenty of time to reflect on all the wonderful experiences of the past days in Namibia.
